I went to study architecture in Germany. The two and a half hour flight took me to a place significantly different from what I was used to. But even though the streets are cleaner, the salaries are higher and the beer - plentiful, the folk doesn't seem very happy. Maybe it's because it rains 6/7 days a week or maybe life is just tough. Either way Berlin, where I currently reside, isn't the happiest of places. Still I'm starting to like it already. The diversity is just staggering. On every street corner there is something different, a new view and a new feel for your surroundings. Sadly I'm left with not much time to take photos, but I will do my best to capture Berlin in a 2D plane.(That is if it doesn't rain on Saturdays). If you come to live here, or you're just passing for a visit, the city will welcome you. Just bring you woolen sweather and an umbrella.
